Well friends, here it is. I happen to be one of those people who like to write long extended notes about my life. A blog seems to be a better outlet for these thoughts then facebook. If you happen to stumble across my ramblings...congratulations. If you happen to take the time to read my ramblings...well, thank you!
I guess to start, I'll fill you in about what is going on in my life. On Thursday I began the next step in my journey. Graduate school has always been a dream of mine, and now it has become a reality! Crazy as it may sound, I am taking 13 graduate hours. 4 of those hours are orchestra (finally...Orchestra!) and oboe lessons. Another thing I get to do this semester is working in a preschool for special needs children. I'll be helping with the music portion. Wednesday is the day I finally get to start my graduate teaching assistantship. Another dream come true....in the music theory department!
If I had tried to plan all this, I would have fallen so short. My God is so much greater then I am! When I finally let go and gave Him complete control of my life and my future, His amazing hand worked in ways I could have never imagined.
And so...here I am. Living out my dream. Letting go of myself. Learning everyday what it means to fall in crazy love with my Jesus.
